Witch Horse Brass

A charmingly retro witch-on-broom design (complete with cat, of course), with the name Boscastle below. Horse brasses originated as charms to protect horses by reflecting away bad luck. Their designs often incorporate magical symbolism. Made exclusively for the Museum, and cast from an object in our collection.
